Tips for Installing Leather Wallpaper
Leather wallpaper gets installed just like any other wallpaper but you should just be a bit more careful to not damage it in the process.
Be sure to choose the right adhesive. There are different adhesives for specific papers. Check the label on your paper to make sure you have the right one.
The paper needs to be level, even if your house isn’t. Make sure the first sheet is perfectly level. If things aren’t flush as you are getting to the corner then you need to get out the measuring tape.
Start with a smooth wall surface. Sand the walls and then scrub them down. Always plot out where your seams are going to be on the wall. If you don’t do this then you could end up with a mismatched pattern right in the center of the wall. Make sure you choose a wallpaper sweep and not a brush. You also don’t want to reuse razors since they can dull quickly. You need to keep cuts clean to avoid any rips.
